Privacy: what we keep about your callers
What we store when someone calls or listens, and what you can see.
What you see
Analytics on your dashboard shows totals: calls, phone minutes, unique callers and web plays, by day and by audio message. On Growth and Pro it also counts returning callers and callers by state or province; a place with fewer than 3 callers is never shown on its own. You never see your callers’ phone numbers, and neither does an AI agent you connect.
Callers and caller names
Owners and admins also have a Callers page: the people who called most recently, how many times, and when they last called. Numbers show only their last four digits.
On Growth, the account owner can turn on caller names, so you can write a name you’ll recognize next to a number. Caller names are off until the owner turns them on, and we record who turned them on or off and who named a caller (not the name itself). Only owners and admins see names. Editors, viewers, connected AI agents and our emails never do. Turning caller names off hides every name; they come back if the owner turns names on again.
What we keep
When someone calls your line, we receive their phone number, the time and length of the call, and the keys they press. We use this to play your audio message, count minutes for billing, prevent abuse and give you the totals above. We store callers’ phone numbers encrypted. We keep the area code separately, for the count by state or province.
People listening on your web page don’t sign in. We count plays and how long they listened, without knowing who they are. The page remembers where a listener stopped on their own device, so they can pick up where they left off.
