Privacy Policy
Last updated October 6, 2026
This policy explains what information DialAMessage ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: support@dialamessage.com.
Information you give us
- Early-access list: your email address and, if you provide them, your name, organization, the type of account and what you'd like to share.
- Customer accounts (when the service opens): account and contact details, billing details (payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers), and the audio, titles and settings you publish.
Information about callers and listeners
- When someone calls a DialAMessage line, we receive the calling phone number, the time and length of the call and the keys pressed. We use this to deliver the message, count usage for billing, prevent abuse and show the line's owner listening statistics. We store calling phone numbers encrypted.
- When someone uses a web listening page, we record playback activity (such as how long the message was played) without requiring an account.
Text messages and phone calls to listeners
When text alerts and scheduled calls become available, a listener will receive them only after choosing to (for example by pressing a key during a call, signing up on a listening page, or replying YES), and can stop them at any time by replying STOP or pressing the opt-out key. Message and data rates may apply.
We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text-message opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with service providers who help us deliver messages (such as telecommunications carriers), only to provide the service.
Information collected automatically
Our website and service record basic technical information (such as browser type, pages visited and the approximate country derived from your connection) to operate, secure and improve the service. We do not use advertising trackers.
How we use information
- To provide, operate and support the service, including delivering calls, messages and listening pages.
- To contact you about early access or your account.
- To bill for usage, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with law.
Service providers
We use trusted providers for hosting, storage, telecommunications, payments, email and error monitoring. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services to us.
Retention and deletion
We keep information as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your early-access record or account information by emailing support@dialamessage.com. A listener can ask us to delete their phone number; we will keep only what is needed to make sure they are not contacted again.
Children
DialAMessage is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify customers.
