Change your plan

Upgrade straight away, move to a smaller plan at the end of your billing period, or switch between monthly and yearly billing.

Only the account owner can change the plan.

  1. On your dashboard, choose Billing.
  2. Under Change plan, pick a plan and, on Growth, the number of extra lines.
  3. Read the note under your choice. It says exactly when the change happens.
  4. Choose Upgrade now or Change at period end.

Upgrading

An upgrade starts straight away. You pay the difference for the rest of this billing period today, and the new plan’s minutes cover the rest of the period.

Moving to a smaller plan

A downgrade happens at the end of your billing period. Until then, nothing changes. Changed your mind? Choose Keep my current plan.

If you have more lines than the smaller plan allows, you’ll need to remove lines first. The page tells you how many.

Monthly or yearly

You choose monthly or yearly billing when you first pay, and you can switch later under Monthly or yearly on the Billing page. Yearly billing costs the same as ten months. Extra lines and any extra minutes are always billed monthly, and your minutes are a monthly allowance either way.

  • Monthly to yearly happens straight away. You pay for the rest of the year today, less the unused part of this month. If your card is declined, nothing changes.
  • Yearly to monthly happens at your yearly renewal; the page shows the date. Until then nothing changes. Changed your mind? Choose Keep my current plan.

A founding-member discount stays when you switch. You can’t switch while a plan change is waiting, or change plan while a switch is waiting: undo the one waiting first.
