Set a greeting and a fallback recording
A short greeting plays before every audio message. A fallback plays when nothing else is published.
Both use audio messages from your library, so upload or record them in Audio messages first and wait until they’re Ready.
- On your dashboard, choose Line settings.
- Under Greeting, pick an audio message. It plays before every audio message. A greeting can be up to 30 seconds, so only short ones are listed.
- Under Fallback recording, pick an audio message. It plays when nothing is published, for example between the end of one scheduled audio message and the start of the next.
- Choose Save.
Callers hear the change on their next call. To turn either off, choose No greeting or No fallback recording and save.
Without a fallback, callers keep hearing the audio message that ended most recently.
