My podcast feed isn't importing
Why new episodes aren't reaching your line, and how to fix it.
Start in Line settings under Podcast feed. It shows when we last checked your feed, and any problem.
“That address isn’t a podcast RSS feed.” You pasted a web page, not the feed. Look for the RSS link on your podcast host; it often ends in .xml or /feed.
“This feed has no audio episodes yet.” The feed works but has no episodes with audio. Publish an episode with your podcast host, and it arrives within about 15 minutes.
“Unreachable since…” We couldn’t load your feed. Check that the address still opens in your browser, and that your podcast host is working. We keep checking, and episodes arrive once it’s back.
“No new podcast episode in … days.” Your feed hasn’t had a new episode in a while. Check that your podcast host is still publishing to this feed.
Other things to check
- Only the newest episode imports when you first connect. Older episodes don’t come across.
- New episodes take up to about 15 minutes to appear after they’re in your feed.
- A scheduled audio message may be playing instead. An audio message with an end date plays ahead of episodes until it ends. See what plays when.
- The episode may be too long for your plan. Look on Audio messages for the episode marked Couldn’t process. See An audio message couldn’t be processed.
