Play an audio message now for a few hours
For an emergency or a last-minute change, play one audio message above everything else for a set number of hours.
Use Play now for… when callers need to hear something right away, for example a closure for bad weather. It plays above everything else on your line, then your schedule carries on by itself. This is on the Growth plan.
Play it now
- On your dashboard, choose Audio messages.
- On the audio message, choose Play now for….
- Enter how many hours (1 to 72) and choose Play now.
The audio message shows Playing now · override until and the time it stops. The Schedule chart shows it too. Only one audio message plays this way at a time: starting another one stops the first.
Stop it early
Choose Cancel override on the audio message. Your line goes straight back to what your schedule says.
If the audio message is in a series, playing it this way replaces its day in the series. Choose Reschedule on the series to put it back.
